As we conclude this campaign, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. Running for Washington State Legislative District 43, was driven by a genuine desire to make Seattle and Olympia better places for all of us. While we didn’t secure the win, this journey has strengthened my commitment to creating a safe and beautiful Seattle.
Through this experience, I connected with countless voters—many of whom were new to We Heart Seattle. Listening to them was incredibly valuable, and one message was clear: people feel a deep sense of urgency. They’re concerned about safety, want a clean and vibrant city, and, most notably, have lost faith in our local elected officials to deliver action now. This feedback has inspired me more than ever, showing me that there’s a critical role for We Heart Seattle in bridging this gap and advocating for meaningful change.
This campaign brought me closer to our community, and I’m confident we can propel our organization to new heights, addressing these issues before they take root. In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be working closely with community leaders to showcase the impact We Heart Seattle can have in building a safe and beautiful Seattle.
