Radical Politics, Distorted Perceptions

I am the real Democrat in this race. My opponent and his supporters hold positions on the fringe.

The magic of the American economy is the tension between socialism and free markets. Our system keeps working when we do not get pulled too far to one side or another.

Democrats Under Attack

There is a wide income demographic in the 43rd District. This fact should not be used to divide us. The majority of voters support a social safety net and demonstrate this by regularly approving tax measures and voting for Democrats. That is where I stand.

Other the other hand, my opponent Shaun Scott and his supporters advocate political ideas from the fringe. It is from there that they accuse me of being a Republican!

I am a twice elected Democrat Precinct Committee Officer. But the truth is, I am dismayed at the current fringe state of the local party organization. Does it represent the views of the majority of Democrat voters in this area?

Fringe / Cringe.

As of this writing, the local Democratic Party Chair, Paul Chapman, offers an image of himself on X (formerly Twitter) evoking a Mad Max movie. If you have never seen these films, they are set in a wasteland that’s devolved into barbarity. While Chapman may enjoy the Mad Max series, he’s no fan of mine. He uses social media to attack my efforts cleaning urban blight as somehow harming the unhoused.

Chapman tends to lash out from the radical left. The 43rd LD Chair recently stated on social media, “Home schooling and private schools should be banned.”

Ban private schools? Ban homeschooling? I oppose this kind of intrusion into family decision-making. This position does not make one a “conservative.”

Don’t believe the hype about me coming from the radicals. It’s not true.

Common Sense Legislator

I support public schools. I also support families having schooling options to make their own decisions for educating their children. I’m guessing you do, too.

I will be a State House representative who understands the communities of the 43rd. The majority of district voters care, and are not stingy — often approving taxes that contribute to social good. We certainly don’t need the class warfare expressed in the slogans radicals use to deface roundabouts in our neighborhoods.

Vote for me to preserve a Democrat Party working for public safety, pro-choice, freedom for families to make educational decisions, inclusion and equality.

I am Andrea Suarez, please vote for me for State House, Position 2 – DEMOCRAT.
